History

The Kucinski Wildlife Foundation was founded by Scottish born, Dana Kucinski and Beata Kucinski-Thomson in 2007. With a deep passion for the natural world and conservation and a large degree of determination, Dana and Beata decided to establish a non-government organisation in the hope to promote the awareness of various environmental and ecological issues throughout the world, however they are in the belief that a number of issues should be dealt with on a national scale. The Kucinski Wildlife Foundation, as a result, focuses primarily on promoting the protection and awareness of Britain's mammals and their habitat.

The Kucinski Wildlife Foundation was established on the belief that wildlife conservation and community livelihoods are inter-related and we therefore promote the engagement of local communties.

Direction

The KWF believe that an alternative approach to wildlife conservation, in particular the attitide towards carniores, and environmental awareness is needed in Britain. They believe that by working with local communities and the youth of today is the way forward to brining ecological unity and help to protect areas of "national treasure" in Britain, it's wildlife both urban and rural, support local communities and provide a possible doorway for our inner city youth to help alleviate social conflict in our towns and cities. They believe that society today is divided  and that many are unaware of the natural world around them and of the possibilities of getting involved in a variety of ways from practical fieldwork and the creative arts such as dance and music which plays a major role in the lifes of young adults today.
