Environmental Youth

The focus of this project is to ultimately get young adults of all backgrounds involved in environmental work and take pride in the natural world around them. Today the media plays a huge role in influencing many youngsters, often in a negative way though. The KWF would like to utilise this tool to open alternative doors in to the wildlife and environmental area and instead of the celebrity life influences, encourage them to have a more nature-based outlook on life.

Many youth are disconnected from the natural world living in the material society that we are today it is understandable but we hope by incorporating such things as music, filming, photography, dance and acting with environmental projects we will encourage young adults to take action in protecting wildlife while realising that yes, it is cool to take care of the environment.
